Fall Color

This last weekend my son Logan and I spent a day chasing what little we could still find left of the prime fall colors. Leaving the house at 6am we traveled from The Gorge to Mt St Helens and much of what we saw had been ripped from the trees by last Thursday's wind or was too brown.

Nonetheless we still did find a few decent spots. It was great to get out and breath the crisp cool fall air. This time of the year is one of my favorites. Here are a few images from the trip.

Beach Time

I always enjoy getting out and doing on location work, traveling to various destinations. It does not need to be a flight across the country, even a trip down to the beach or up to Mt Hood are great local places. At the end of summer I was asked by the Sinnot Family to take their family picture on the beach on the Oregon Coast. I had a great time with this session and we were fortunate to have superb weather. Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Alex Lukkasson

The fall is a great time for photography, from landscapes to portraits. The leaves were just starting to turn color in Laurelhurst Park when I did this senior session with Alex. We ended up with some great images from this session. Alex was a great client with her big smile that was helped by the attendance of her mom and sister. Always nice to have a couple family or friends with you to keep it interesting.
